This is how my writing hobby started:&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;One day, when I was probably eight-ish, I decided to sit down at my mom's laptop and write out a story. I looked around for a name, and came across a Khol's ad. I added an extra 'l' and voila! (That explains my weird email address...) I ended up basing the plot off of my Lego minifigure that I made. The minifigure had a translucent green spear and a sword, which I had Kholl find lying in the forest, after coming home from a tournament. (He had to trick a nasty bridge troll to get home.)&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Aaand I think that's as far as I ever got with that first version. But it was a start! After a few years the plot and characters have all evolved muchly, and I think it'll make a really cool book! If I ever finish...&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The main thing I have trouble with is getting past the first chapter. I know where I want the story to go, but I don't know how to get there.
